It is tested to BSI EN 1888 safety standard which tests the seat up to 15kg which is approximately a 3 year ol toddler. This is the minimum it must be able to carry and is designed and tested to over 22kg. Hope this helps

No, Each pushchair seat unit is designed for their particular chassis. This is so they can fold with the chassis and are also stable, as some chassis and pushchair on the Jane range are higher off the ground than others.
The Jane car seats can go on different jane chassis or pushchair, but not the pushchair seat units.
