It’s innovative swivel system with Isofix allows Matrix to be in either the 138° sitting up or 180° lying flat positions in the car.
ISOFIX installation to guarantee an accurate, safe fit.
The base can be swivelled to 3 different positions:
Two transversal (sideways) positions (0-10 kg, Group 0), that make it easier to get the baby in and out of the infant car seat, in which the baby travels 180° lying down and one position in which the baby travels sitting up rearward facing (0-13 kg, Group 0+).
The Matrix Infant car seat is easily fixed and removed from the base using its built-in Pro-fix buttons on the Matrix handle.

Are Jane interchangeable eg can a crosswalk seat go on a trider base?

No, Each pushchair seat unit is designed for their particular chassis. This is so they can fold with the chassis and are also stable, as some chassis and pushchair on the Jane range are higher off the ground than others.
The Jane car seats can go on different jane chassis or pushchair, but not the pushchair seat units.
