I was slightly worried about purchasing this item online as I couldn't test it out and get a feel for it, however I am so glad I did! I absolutely love this travel system, the colours are lovely and it is very light and easy to use although baby isn't due for another 2 months yet I am very much looking forward to using it. Also folding down and putting it up are so simple and easy. The only downfall is that the Jane instructions are very basic and I struggled understanding how to assemble initially and had to resort to watching youtube videos! Other than that definitely recommend.

hi. Does the front swivel wheel have a setting where you can lock in place or lock forward facing?

The Trider front swivel wheel can be locked in the fixed position. Just by pressing a button above the front wheel, down for lock, and slide up for swivel.

Are Jane interchangeable eg can a crosswalk seat go on a trider base?

No, Each pushchair seat unit is designed for their particular chassis. This is so they can fold with the chassis and are also stable, as some chassis and pushchair on the Jane range are higher off the ground than others.
The Jane car seats can go on different jane chassis or pushchair, but not the pushchair seat units.

Hi Jen, the coordinating TRANSPORTER 2 carrycot will do from birth until baby can sit up unaided, this is approx 6 months. The carrycot can be used for overnight sleeping and also can be used as a lie- flat auto carrycot for baby when travelling by car. This does from birth until baby is 10 kg in weight, again this is approx till they are 6 / 9 months.
The actual TRIDER pushchair, when used with the carrycot or car seat, is suitable from birth, however it is recommended that the pushchair seat unit for the Trider chassis does from 6 months until baby is 3-4 years old.
So as a whole this system will do from birth until 3 or 4 years.
